NYC

Its hard to believe that this is in New York City! Jennifer suggested we walk home from the Statue of Liberty along the Hudson River waterfront walkway. It was so pretty! Trees, flowers, grass, parks...plenty of room for the kids to run around us like fireflies while we traipsed home after a busy day. The sun was setting and it was such a nice view. The Statue of Liberty is actually right behind the kids here (very very tiny).

Also at Jennifer's suggestion, along our walk we found the glass World Finance Building. We went inside and had a very clear view of the World Trade Center site. Here is a picture of the kids looking out onto the site, trying to imagine the twin towers, almost 3 times higher than the skyscrapers we could see. Strange to think that the triplets were just 5 months old when that tragedy happened.

Me with my favorite Manhattan baby, little Ruby! She is so darling. Just look at her curly hair and sweet little face. She was in the bath when we got there, and was supposed to be getting ready for bed. Well, 7 people arrived in her home and we brought baby puzzles, books, ball-tossing, eating, peek-a-boo, singing performances, tickling, and lots of kisses. It was quite a party! We had to finally say goodbye so the party could end and she could go to bed. We left Chloe and Hannah there, so when she wakes up she will have 2 little cousins waiting to play with her.
