We arrived in Palmyra late last night. It was supposed to be a 5 hr drive from NYC. Somehow between lots of traffic leaving NYC, a fateful decision to stop at an outlet mall food court for lunch, and bathroom breaks we turned that 5 hrs into 9 1/2! So we didn't make it here until 9:30 pm. We were so happy to find our vacation rental, the Palmyra White House. It is so comfortable and homey--just the rest we needed after non-stop sightseeing.
Palmyra is a beautiful little town. I will take pictures and will post them tomorrow!

Try the Chill and Grill in Palmyra for some awesome Ice Cream!!!
Oh yes we love the chill 'n grill! They make the hugest cones. My kids loved the Grandin press. I think you will love the grove during the off season. We always tried to go before the pageant crowds arrived. We miss being so close. Have fun!
