The National Air and Space Museum

Matthew found his souveniers here--a book on the solar system and a light-up wheel thing.



It was amazing to see the scale of the solar system in this exhibit. Earth is that little blue ball, and the sun is that yellow arc behind Kresten!


This lunar module looked like it was made of tinfoil! I was shocked to learn that it was an actual lunar module, not just a model. I'm sure it was very nice tinfoil though. Maybe the big heavy duty roll from Costco.
